Mushroom Cultures LLC is an organization composed of friends and mushroom enthusiasts alike. We have been collecting and isolating mushroom cultures for over 17 years! Many of these cultures have been foraged and cloned by our staff over the years. We sold our first mushroom culture online in 2005.

During our time in mycology we have produced tried and tested methods of mushroom cultivation and fungi expansion onto grains and other media. We really love what we do so it’s not just work to us, it’s a passion.
 

Mushroom Cultures LLC is a small business located in northern Illinois near the Chicago area. All of our staff is locally sourced and we have a great team here ready to serve your mycology needs.

Almost all of the mushroom cultures you see being sold online have derived their genetics from us. We are proud to be the main mushroom culture supplier for the United States and one day, the entire globe.
